Hang Artist Matt Venuti
As a composer, performer and band-leader, multi-instrumentalist Matt
Venuti has shared his unique musical gifts in many capacities and to
diverse audiences. The latest of these comes in the form of a hand-crafted
"sound sculpture" known as the Hang, a new instrument with timeless and
mystical qualities. Matt has gained global recognition as a prolific
player of the Hang and his music is often described as restorative and
inspiring on a deep "Soul" level...unfolding an enchanting musical journey
of rhythm, melody, and resonance. "Hang" means hand in the Swiss-German
"Bernese" dialect, and the Hang in Matt's hands is pure magic!
